The Story

One part Greek tragedy, another detective Noir, Stymie is a graphic novel which follows the story of Wes Apolda, a young but confident mafia don struggling to adopt his new role.

The Author

James Hohenstein makes comics. Lots of comics, hence the existence of this very site. He’s been doing it for quite a good while, but only started publishing them on the internet more recently. He enjoys drawing for the most part; but also spends time eating, sleeping, listening to music, and reading comics.
Occasionally he has been known to code websites, socialize, and play video games.

He studies Studio Art at Bethany Lutheran College, and should be graduating soon. If you want to give him a job, or just money, he can be reached at portheiusj [at] gmail [dot] com. He is hoping for Storyboard or Illustration types of gigs, but may take others with enough coercing.
